It’s been awhile since my last update on here, but im coming back with a biggie. I am a big time music lover and within this past year I have been focusing on shooting concerts. A few days back my buddy asked me if I was still interested in shooting The Vans Warped Tour and at the time was a few days away when we sent in my credential application. Likelihood of me shooting it was slim, but I got confirmation midnight before the show. I was really stoked since I have always wanted to shoot it and this year had a bunch of big headliners (New Found Glory, Taking Back Sunday, The Used..etc) All in all I’ll say I had a blast being so close to bands that I have loved for so long. Being a big fan of theirs I can say that I was stoked to have the opportunity to shoot The Expendables in their hometown. While playing along side with another Santa Cruz based group, Ribsy’s Nickel and San Diego based, Through The Roots the show was on an epic level. I want to say that everybody that I dealt with from within the band and at The Catalyst made everything easier for me and I would like to extend a thank you.
